Sett is expected to be a top lane bruiser and juggernaut, and the next champion in-line after the release of Aphelios on December 10. The Unbreakable Spear.

As League of Legends season 10 gets into full swing, bringing new LoL Champion Sett, a soft reset for ranked, and more, it seems it’s also time to look ahead to the future additions heading to the League of Legends Champions roster this year. Developer Riot has posted a video discussing Champion news for the 2020 season – and hinted at several more on the way.

In the video, which you can check out below, lead producer for the League of Legends Champions team Ryan ‘Reav3’ Mireles says: “We’ve tried a few new tactics with Champions over the last couple of years”, explaining that one of these is in tying them to big events. For example, Qiyana and virtual hip-hop group True Damage and Aphelios with the Night and Dawn event – both of which were big successes. This, the dev says, will continue into 2020.

“A big part of events is having something new for players to experience. Outside of game modes, champions are one of the biggest gameplay experiences we release, so adding them to events made a ton of sense,” Mireles says. “This is something we’re going to continue to do in 2020, as we feel like grouping a lot of content together creates bigger and more memorable moments throughout the year.”

The first hint is about a new Jungler Champion to “fawn” over, tying into a big festival event heading to the game this summer that’ll “blossom”. A second character who will also feature with the event is a “masked Champion who refuses to die.” It’s not clear who or what these hints might point to, but the latter could be someone we’ve encountered in some way before, as Mireles says: “some demons should remain in our past.”

Beyond these two summer releases, Riot has a “few more Champs up its sleeves” for 2020, but we won’t find out more about these until later in the year. Given the studio also talks about the importance of drawing on LoL lore to develop new characters in the video above, perhaps we could some new character inspired by the wider universe of Runeterra arrive.

The dev also reveals that Riot will once again hold a poll to let players decide which League of Legends Champions will get an update in 2021, which will be held later this year.

In 2019, the studio gave players a choice between Fiddlesticks, Dr Mundo, Shyvana, Nocturne, and Volibear – with the Juggernaut bear winning the most votes. However, it was a close run thing so Riot decided to give Fiddlesticks a rework, too. It’s not clear yet which Champion – or how many – will be featured, but it’s a good opportunity for Riot to connect with the LoL community and get an understanding of they’d most like to see changed.

His utli has just been nerfed, so he can have it in like 18 sec. I will not say he is over powered any more. But jax, is tanky brusier, lot of damage and have I sick escape, stun and aoe damage. I am just saying that it's sick that he has been nerfed for like 4 month ago and he is still OP.

He is too good as a starter in laugh out loud or league of legends but still, I'm grateful we have an op starter

2Lee Sin

He is blind be nice to him

Lee Sin is hard to get used to but once you practice and get good with him, he will prove to be the best champion of them all. Not to mention he has 7 totally badass abilities.
Q: He sends a sonic wave that hits and reveals any champion. Once that is placed, he can press Q again to instantly dash to that enemy, making it easier to finish off if he is running away. Also it can travel through walls, which is awesome
W: He shields himself and/or another ally by dashing instantly to that ally. He gains a small shield that does only a portion of his health, however it is useful for the enemy to waste ignite and escape a turret without any health loss and can help escape by dashing to an ally, or even a ward. He can press W again to gain additional lifesteal, which is pretty good.
E: When Lee Sin casts E, his hits the ground and deals magic damage to enemies around him. It's a very small range but it's still pretty good. Also, once that's done, he can cast E again to ..more

Enemies rarely get away from Lee Sin. With his (Q) attack, you can catch up to the enemy and finish them off when their trying to get away.

Lee Sin is the strongest champ being able to chase or escape very well while dealing exceptional damage and utility

3Kassadin

Kassadin he can escape all the time

Best champ ever you can't escape kass but cass can escape all

He weak early game but by the team your level 6 you go god mode

He can escape whenever he wants

4Amumu

When someone tries to hug him they die.. If they run from his hugs they still die

His ult, his E's cooldown. One of the best tanks I would say. And, the most important part, he's cute!

With the right gear, This crowd control champion can be devastating especially if centered around tanking.

5Swain

I play with him and I get so many kills it is ridiculous and at then end the other team is like woah swain so op and then I just laugh cause even though it seems easy to use its pretty hard

He's really a monster if well played. One of the best sustain champions to play mid, with decent damage and higher than average resistance to a mid-lane champion. Not easy to master, but really worth trying.

6Master Yi

Q: With this, he can catch up to enemies when they are running away and kill like 10 minions in 2 seconds
W: Whenever you are running low on health, Meditate can help you recover and bring you good condition to fight again
E: This is helpful in fighting against enemies with high health and destroys turrets faster
R: Master Yi gains bonus movement speed, attack speed and attack damage. He is also immune to slowing movements (which can be good for escapes)

He is very good because if you build life steal you gain more health in battle than you lose. He also has meditate witch can be like a recall. In 1 minute I could go from 1 health to full.

Q in combination with R: Deadly to all in range. Take out champions under turrets with Q.

He is great with his ultimate because even when they try to run away he has his alpha strike and when he's low on health he can meditate. A=don't forget he gets a huge damage boost early game with wuju style.

7Janna

Akk not to sure if I would play her but I believe she will be pretty strong

She is the only champion that can shield turret

Janna is my favorite support

A very good support in my opinion, is in my top 5 supports. Though her attack is low, she shields and helps her teammates, which is what a support is for.

8Jax

Q: When his enemy is running low on health, you can use this to quickly kill that person and get one point for kills
W: Adds magic damage in the next attack. Extremely useful when destroying turrets
E: First acts like a barrier, allowing Jax to 'dodge' incoming attacks and then he spins his lamp thing and stuns the enemies in front of him
R: Your armor is dramatically increased, allowing you to take in a lot of damage.
If Jax is not the best, I don't which champion will. JAX IS THE MAN!

It has the advantage, attack or flee it's the best champion,
It's easy to handle

He does tons of damage in a short amount of time. Ult buffs your armor so he can take a lot of damage as well. And he also has a stun and a great retreat.

In the lore, Jax is known to be the most strongest champion of League of Legends. Since Jax was too powerful, the people in charge of League of Legends made Jax use only a lamp for fight the enemies.
This basically means nobody was able to fight off Jax's actual power.
Now that this champion has a lamp, his offense is lower than his actual power, but his defense should stay the same. This means Jax can avoid many attacks and increase his defense dramatically.

9Sona

Easy to use? Yes. Rocks at support? Yes. Boobs? Yes.

Meh she is a pretty good top lane if your a good Sona but other than that she is just another soul on support

Sona is easy to play, and is good at support anywhere. Her heal can save many a teammate about to die, and her movement speed is helpful for running or fighting.

I main with her, if you build her right she can take some decent chunks of health out of the enemy as a support! Heals, Stuns, Slows, Buffs, has everything a team could ask for!

10Kog'Maw

Well I got killed by a bot when I went kog'maw.. But I think he's hard to play

Probably has the worst early game and mid game compared to any other champ but in late he is a monster

He is awesome! He has a very good combo

His passive ability is amazing oh yeah

Owns and operates Riot Games, goes well with Dubstep and makes duo top users cry.

Best assassin, he has a great deal of freedom in choosing when and how to strike, and can use Leap to get out of a jam, so if used correctly and played at the right moment, he can grab a kill, Leap, and Flash professionally, in a split second with low health.

13Wukong

Teemo is great with the ability to be fast.
This champion's passive is Camouflage. A great way to hide yourself from the enemy and to surprise the enemy.
A combination of blinding darts and poison darts can make a champion in the state of being in low health.
The ultimate ability is great for beating up your enemy. The enemy will hardly know about the mushrooms around them.

19Viktor

His poke does so much damage to squishy unsuspecting opponents, and when the enemy team groups together, his ultimate can destroy them all!

Yasuo is a really good champion, I know it as he is my favourite one. You must just learn how to avoid taking damages while killing your enemy in the game beginning.

21Cho'Gath

His passive let you restore health when you kill minions, his ultimate is super strong, can also raise you max health. His third ability let you slow enemies and damage them, very useful

Cho is amazing late game. With a full stack on your ult and a low cool down there isn't much that can solo him and skilled usage of his moves can be a life saver in team fights. His passive is also great in team fights when your in a lane because your going to kill minions.

You have no chance with him when he gets stacked. Very hard to kill

Has a bit of a slow start but once he reaches level 6 THEN WATCH OUT WITH HIS OP HEALTH

Actually this champ is not really good at killing, he is only one of the best champ when it comes to pushing towers and diving them. He can only become strong when most of the enemy champ have no escape mechanism and I found out that his life steal is not that powerful because a single stun or knock back can kill him in a seconds because it stops you from healing and his life steal wont do much to burst champs. still he is good to play but I wish he could have better stats because his hp and armor at level one is too low compared to other ad fighters..

Varus is my favorite Champions from all laugh out loud, maybe because archers has always been my type, I got used to him for a week, I am working on regeting him for good, as soon as possible, I simply love his voice, movement, skills, everything. His also unstopable once he has all the items he needs, killing becomes a playground for him with speed enhanced. Just lovely.

Varus was the first champ I played with and still to this day is my secondary main. Well he is my main but I played more matches with annie so I can't call him my true primary main

Warwick is so good if you need to get up levels quickly just jungle and then head back to lanes and destroy, his ultimate will always make him win 1v1's :D 'It's always fun when they run'

Best champion for me, need to back off a little bit in the early game, but once it reaches level 7 or 8, it is the most op champion I have ever seen.

Playing as Warwick is an experience you really get into fighting, it's like actually being a wolf when you chase down your enemies, I even had a habit of chasing my enemies all the way into their base just to kill them.

Whenever he isn't on my team I am strongly inclined to back out and smash my computer.

39Jayce

Switching between Hammer and Cannon forms makes Jayce a dual threat and very powerful in the mid-lane. He is hard to counter but also complicated to master.

Wasting my IP for buying this not op champs..

E is really good for ganking people, when Zac leaps out of the jg and starts making enemies run its verity efficient.

Don't count him out because he's out of favor. One of the most reliable passives combined with an ult to engage or escape, he has the perfect toolkit for turret dives. while they wont win the game, he is still tanky enough to be at the heart of every teamfight

41Trundle

If fed, one of the best fighter/tank/duelists! Great at trolling too. Haha

His ult. is so cool and I'm a trundle Player I'm always the best with the stats and you can farm so easy he is so nice but not when you not can make the pillars

Love this Champ! I just wish he had some better skin options. The Legondary one is good, but can't buy it anymore.

42Ahri

Ahri has one of the best poke abilities out there with her Q. Not only does it hit multi target, but it also deals true damage on the way back. I've seen plenty of ahri's Q 2 or 3 times and drop half of the enemies team to less than half health while the fight has yet to initiate. Especially since 40% CD = 4.8second CD on Q. Ult is great for finishing/closing distance, or just running away. And E can initiate the fight and catch their squishy if done right, overall ahri is quite a powerhouse.

She is a very strong champion that can easily burst down squishy targets.

Can chase down targets after a huge team fight, can burst someone down in less than five seconds and can be built flexibly. She's a great role for any part on the map, really. The burst is OP.

Kalista has an extremely complicated learning curve. You should know your enemies like back of your hands. And when you are at this very stage.. all you do is OWNING YOUR LANE. her passive has a fantastic outplay potential. Utilize her Q-E with your support and nothing can stop kalista. Ez 2v5

She is has so much damage with her ult when low but if Fiora is near and they both use ult more unlikely to kill the champion they have ulted

Irelia is highly item dependent, but once you reach late game Irelia becomes a powerful champion. Her Q is an excellent gap closer which can quickly be followed up with her W for excellent damage and sustain. Then use you E to ensure they can't get away. If the fight turns sour use your E to stun your opponent. Her ult also can land the extra sustain and damage in close fights, and can give you some lane sustain against champions with strong poke. Overall a very strong champion.

Easily one of the strongest champions in the game with her strong early, mid and late game once she has her items. Even due to her kit.

47Riven

Riven has such a unique kit like most other champions, but the significant thing about hers is how versatile she is. There is a multitude of things you can do depending on the situation.

Sejuani is my favorite champion to use. Not only does she make a great support/tank, with the right build and in the right hands she can do crazy damage.

He can lane with casters and can close in tight to land a finishing blow. Very strong melee.

If fed in early game, Tryndamere can take down most champions in under 4 hits once you build up his attack damage and crit chance. A lot of fun to play and really benefits of a good support.

Haha. I just use Tryndamere and every game is a sure win. For me this is definitely the Champion everyone would look after for. His crits, finisher blows and lastly his ult which makes him a difficult champion to take down. On early game make sure you should be more safe in order to have the desired number of kills with 0-deaths. With a little practice on AI bots (Intermediate), confidence and strong determination to overcome every champion on your lane. This is definitely the champion you can count on.. :D

50Thresh

Thresh puts all champions in the places he want. Good support and op tank

Thresh can AD carry while supporting another AD carry. That plus natural tankiness makes him one very difficult champion to beat.

Thresh can save people in IMPOSSIBLE situations

Once you get to 9990 the other team fails. You can't stop thresh!
